Upcoming Large Animal Rescue Training

Queensland Horse Council needs you!

Can you help us by coordinating a one-day Large Animal Rescue workshop in your area?

Following the success of our 2013 workshops, we plan to take the Queensland Horse Council Large Animal Rescue Roadshow off the beaten track again next year, starting in Roma then travelling to Emerald, Childers, Tiaro, Hervey Bay, Hughenden, Longreach, Charters Towers and Maryborough and returning to Townsville, Mackay, the Gold Coast and Rockhampton – and all places in between if there is enough interest.

We need dynamic people to help us. If you are passionate about keeping yourself and your horses safe, know a great bunch of like-minded people who want to know what to do if things go wrong and you are willing to coordinate a workshop, please contact MaryAnne Leighton at [email protected] and she will send you all the information you need. Send us your name, town and at least three alternative dates for your workshop.

Please also let MaryAnne know if you’d like a presentation on Large Animal Rescue to your club or group while we’re on the road.

We look forward to hearing from you and thank you in advance for contributing to the continuing success of the Roadshow.
